In 2003, my journey as an independent licensed Medicare insurance agent in Florida began. At that time, I embarked on a quest to comprehend the intricacies of insurance, seeking a deeper understanding of how it works. However, my true driving force lay in the desire to forge a career that would not only sustain me but also allow me to positively affect the lives of others positively.

With over 20 years of experience, Mark Prip is a senior editor at Florida Insurance Guide. He provides comprehensive advice on Medicare, life insurance, and dental coverage across forty states. Mark specializes in helping individuals select the right health plans for their needs. He holds a resident 2–15 Florida Health & Life Agent License (# E01889) and is a co-founder of Policy Guide, an insurance agency based in Pensacola, FL.
Mark and his business partner Matt Kiggins are top producers for renowned insurance carriers such as Florida Blue, Aetna, Cigna, and Mutual of Omaha. Mark cherishes quality time with his family outside of work and enjoys traveling, welding, and shark fishing on the beach. His genuine concern for people drives his passion to improve insurance accessibility through education.
